Game of Thrones boasted a host of highly talented actors, and Emilia Clarke is surely one of them. The 35-year-old star, famous for playing Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen, is soon to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in the upcoming series Secret Invasion. Reliving her Khaleesi days, the actress recently recalled how the costumes were on Game of Thrones.

Emilia Clarke will “never wear” the Game of Thrones costumes again

Clarke recently chatted with Who What Wear about her Game of Thrones costumes and said, “I will never wear costumes that beautiful again in my life unless I have the privilege of working with Michelle Clapton again. But she definitely makes costumes that looked great but felt horrific. You couldn’t pay me to be in a corset again! They had to take me out of my costumes before I could eat. It looked amazing but—the price!”

Why does Emilia Clarke love filming indie movies?

Clarke went on to explain what she wants to do more in her career ahead, “The thing that I want most for the rest of my career is to work with as many auteurs and filmmakers in the independent film space and be as creatively fulfilled as I possibly can be. And I’ve had access to some incredible experiences and been able to work with some astonishing people.”

Who is Emilia Clarke’s G’iah in Secret Invasion?

G’iah is the daughter of the skrull Talos. Speaking with Vanity Fair, Clarke explained, “It’s hardened her for sure. There’s a kind of punk feeling that you get from this girl. She’s a refugee kid who’s had Talos for a dad, you know what I mean?”

“Maybe the fact that we didn’t know he had a kid up until this point tells you everything you need to know about their relationship. These people promised a lot of stuff a long time ago, and not a lot has happened. So understandably, a certain amount of resentment has been built. There’s a lot of emotions that live within her, and there’s a lot of confrontational aspects to her character that have come from circumstance. You understand why she has the feelings that she does.”
