Natalia Tena had a hint when Osha was going to die on Game of Thrones

While Game of Thrones thrives on the beauty of the details of its characters, it’s also known as the show which shows no hesitation in killing off fan-favorite characters. Natalia Tena‘s wildling character Osha slowly became a fan favorite over time as she tried her best to protect Bran and Rickon Stark, but ultimately dies a gruesome death at the hands of the cruel Ramsey Bolton. Tena actually had an inkling when her character was going to be killed off even before she got the script.

When did Natalia Tena know her character was going to die?

Tena had a little chat with Inverse quite recently and recalled, “I was so excited in Season 6 when they brought me back. I’d been out for two or three seasons. They were like, ‘Don’t worry, she’s gonna come back’” Tena had worked with Ramsey on another project before, but when she saw how few scenes she had with him and others, she knew her time was up. “I’m only working with him for two weeks. That’s when I clocked, ‘They’re definitely killing me off.’ Because I only had my scenes with him, and it’s very little to build on. So I was like, ‘Okay, I’m dying.’”

Natalia Tena would have loved to join Bran at the Battle of Winterfell

She wishfully stated, “I would have loved to make it to the end. I wish as well that me and Art [Parkinson, who played Rickon] could have joined up with Bran and the other wildlings with Hodor. Because we split off, and it would have been great to come back together.”

What is Natalia Tena doing now?

Tena is a well-established actress in the industry, and has played beloved characters in massively popular franchises such as Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. On her most recent outing, she played the role of Katia Jovanovich, John Wick’s adoptive sister in John Wick: Chapter 4. She is the head of a Russian Romani syndicate of assassins and is just as badass as her previous roles.
