House of The Dragon episode 6 is set 10 years after Rhaenyra’s wedding with Laenor
The sixth episode of House of The Dragon is finally here! After an excruciatingly long wait of a week, the most recent episode of the Game of Thrones prequel, titled The Princess and the Queen, premiered a few minutes ago. And it is just as good as the earlier episodes.
Time moves a lot faster than it did ahead of the second episode, We Light the Way. The series moves forward by 10 years since Rhaenyra’s wedding with Laenor Velaryon, indicating a lot has happened in that time frame. A lot of the characters have grown up, hence so many new faces that will include Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, John MacMillan, and more. Rhaenyra and Alicent’s rivalry has grown bitter and cold in that time, even more so after Rhaenyra has kids of her own. This is also reflected in their treatment of their kids, pushing them to be the next ruler of Westeros.
Laenor and Rhaenyra have adjusted to their new life, even amongst the rumors about their children’s supposed parentage. Daemon has begun a new life with Laenor’s sister, Laena, and has two daughters with her. He seems to have changed a bit, showing at least a hint of affection for her. And of course, Laena here is all grown up, and rides the biggest dragon in Westeros at the time, the mighty Vhagar.
There are several shocks, twists, and turns as the episode progresses, and horrors that are best left to the imagination. What did you think of the latest episode of House of The Dragon? Tell us in the comments below!
