South Park beats Game of Thrones as the most in-demand show on HBO Max
Game of Thrones was definitely the biggest TV show of the 21’st century. Very few shows come even close to the epic fantasy in terms of budget, cinematography, popularity, viewership, and the number of awards won. Game of Thrones still holds the record for the most number of Emmy Awards won to date. Even after more than two years since its ending, the show is still one of the most requested shows on HBO Max, second only to the adult-comedy animation South Park.
According to The Wrap, a new report from Parrot Analytics states that Game of Thrones was 47.20 times more in demand than the average show on the streaming service in March 2022. However, at 48.16 times more in demand, South Park just managed to nab the top spot. Here are the top 10 shows highest in demand on HBO Max according to the list:
- South Park (48.16x)
- Game of Thrones (47.20x)
- Euphoria (44.01x)
- Sesame Street (41.89x)
- Rick and Morty (35.67x)
- Steven Universe (32.21x)
- Jujutsu Kaisen (31.16x)
- The Big Bang Theory (28.93x)
- Titans (28.19x)
- Our Flag Means Death (27.09x)
Interestingly, Euphoria is the most in-demand show across all of HBO’s services. This shouldn’t come as a surprise as it is now HBO’s second-most-watched show since 2004, second only after Game of Thrones.
