Marilyn Manson’s lawyers say Game of Thrones star Esme Bianco made-up horror rape accusations
The discrimination against women is a curse that our society still bears even in the 21st century. Gender-based violence is a mockery of the social values we strive so hard to perfect. According to a recent study, about 97% of women have faced some kind of molestation in their lives. It is an alarming sign that shows how unsafe our world has become for half of humanity. Game of Thrones’ Esmé Bianco filed a federal lawsuit against Marilyn Manson a few months ago accusing him of rape and other acts of sexual violence. Marilyn Manson’s lawyers have denied all claims and said all the stories were forged by the actress.
In the new motion reviewed by Insider, attorney Howard King representing Manson said that Bianco’s claims were “a key component of a coordinated attack by multiple plaintiffs, who are cynically and dishonestly seeking to monetize and exploit the #MeToo movement.”
“To be clear, this suit was only filed after my client refused to be shaken down by Ms. Bianco and her lawyer and give in to their outrageous financial demands based on conduct that simply never occurred. We will vigorously contest these allegations in court and are confident that we will prevail,” King said in April.
The new filings by King allege that Bianco’s claims are “governed by the two-year statute of limitations in California Code of Civil Procedure section 335.1” and that they should be dismissed.
“Because the statute of limitations expired in 2013 and Plaintiff did not file her claims until 2021, her sexual assault and battery claims are not actionable and should be dismissed,” King wrote.

The biggest show of the 21st century, Game of Thrones, was in danger of being cancelled in its preliminary stage. The original pilot episode filmed by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss was botched beyond imagination, costing HBO a fortune. However, due to constant nagging by the delirious duo, and while also seeing the huge potential of the story of the show, the then HBO head Michael Lombardo greenlit the TV adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s famed novel series. Lombardo has now joined hands with Game of Thrones alum Peter Dinklage to work on future showbiz projects.
Peter Dinklage will soon collaborate with his Game of Thrones executive to develop some new projects. He has been signed on a multiple-year overall TV deal with Entertainment One which will reunite him with Michael Lombardo, the former HBO head of originals who greenlit Game of Thrones. Michael Lombardo joined eOne as global television president in June 2020. Peter Dinklage’s Estauray Films (that he co-founded alongside David Ginsberg) will create and develop new projects for multiple platforms for the indie studio.
“I am delighted to be reunited with Peter and Brad as well as their partner David,” Lombardo said on Wednesday. “The team at Estuary has both wonderful creative taste as well as outstanding relationships with the industry, and we look forward to bringing many exciting projects to life together.”
Peter Dinklage is the second Game of Thrones alum to head to eOne with an overall deal under Lombardo and joins Emmy-winning director Bryan Cogman, who already has multiple projects in the works for the studio. Dinklage will also be starring in the upcoming R-rated superhero film The Toxic Avenger.

Game of Thrones was one of the most popular shows of all time, and as with any show or film the actors have to stay in their best shape to breathe life into their portrayal. Jason Momoa, who played Khal Drogo on the show, is definitely one of the fittest actors in Hollywood currently. His fitness regime consists of a lot of heavy lifting (he absolutely hates yoga) and his favourite outdoor sport rock-climbing. That’s why he was very happy when he announced his next project, which deals extensively with this adrenaline-filled activity. The actor has announced his latest project, the HBO Max reality competition show The Climb. And he describes the project as his ‘dream come true’.
According to Digital Spy, The Climb will follow a group of amateur rock climbers as they travel around the world, taking up challenges along the way. The show will contain eight episodes, so there will be plenty of gruelling tasks for viewers to enjoy. Each contestant will compete for the title of World’s Best Amateur Rock Climber but news of a cash prize is currently unknown. Momoa will be executive producing the series alongside professional rock climber Chris Sharma.
Momoa said, “It’s a dream come true to create a show with one of my idols, my good friend and legendary climber Chris Sharma. I’m thrilled to be partnering with HBO Max and to produce alongside IPC to bring you this incredible show about my favourite sport, rock climbing.”

We are living in the 21st century, and with all the technological advancements humanity has witnessed we still can’t guarantee the safety of the other half of the human race. Crimes against women don’t seem to stop, be it on the streets or within the four walls of a room. These blood-boiling incidents show the lack of morality and a genuine sense of respect in the minds of such animalistic ‘gentlemen’. Game of Thrones star Hannah Waddingham, famous for playing Septa Unella on the show, recently revealed she was groped on set while filming the ITV show Benidorm.
Waddingham played Tonya Dyke in the sixth season of the show, which aired back in 2014. “I’d never been groped in my life, but I was groped three times in one week in Benidorm,” she told The Mirror.
Without naming any cast or crew member specifically, Waddingham said, “To get on set, I had to walk through the hotel dressed as Tonya in some non-existent bikini and high heels with blokes gawping at me… or rather groping me.”
“I had to stop myself doing what I’d instinctively do – knock their blocks off – because I was working. A little angel on my shoulder was going, ‘Leave it, Hannah’. But I really wanted to take off my five-inch wedges and whack them.”
A few months ago, Game of Thrones star Esmé Bianco accused Marilyn Manson of sexual assault. It seems women are not safe anywhere. How can we curb such instances of violence against women? Tell us in the comments below!
