Emilia Clarke reveals who the real Game of Thrones Season 8 coffee cup culprit was
Game of Thrones Season 8’s funniest gaffe was when a coffee cup showed up in the middle of a scene. There have been a lot of speculations and fingers pointed, but now we might finally know whose cup it was, as Emilia recently spilled the beans on the real culprit behind the mistake. Read on!
The coffee cup showed up in Game of Thrones Season 8, episode 4, “The Last of the Starks”, in a frame that showed Jon Snow, Tormund Giantsbane, and Daenerys Targaryen.
Previously, in an appearance on the Jimmy Fallon Show, Sophie Turner, who played Sansa Stark, had implied that Emilia Clarke was most likely to be the culprit. Now, Emilia was on the Jimmy Fallon Show herself, and was asked about the whole thing, and she had a a story to tell. Check out the video clip:
Yes, you heard it right. Conleth Hill, who played the role of Varys, was behind the coffee cup, or so he claims. He apparently revealed the truth to Emilia at their pre-Emmy party, says Emilia:
“He said, ‘I think it was [mine], I am sorry, darling. I didn’t want to say anything because it seemed the heat was very much on you.’”
Ouch.
Emilia also talked about Kit Harington’s douche shoulder dance, and even gave us a live demo of it.
Well, now that we know who brought the cup in, we can finally blame him. What do you guys think about this? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
