Emilia Clarke calls Game of Thrones Season 8 backlash flattering, again

Game of Thrones stars have been faced with questions about their reactions about the ending of the show, and they don’t seem to stop. Emilia Clarke, who played Daenerys, has had a very positive response before, calling it flattering, and now she’s called it fragile again, in a recent interview. Read on!
Emilia has previously called previously called the Season 8 backlash “profoundly flattering”, and that seems to have become her go-to answer now, when asked about it. She was recently on This Morning to promote her new film, Last Christmas, where she discussed the backlash that Game of Thrones Season 8 received, repeating her previous comments:
“On every level, it’s just profoundly flattering that people genuinely cared that much and they were with us for that long and that they really, truly believed in it.”
She continued:
“I don’t read anything online really because it doesn’t help my brain, but largely speaking I think people are being really kind about Daenerys and Mother Dragon and backing me up, so that’s lovely.
I don’t think there’s an ending that anyone could’ve written. No matter how many signatures were on any bit of paper, you just can’t and that is really just so flattering.”
Well, what do you guys think? Was your backlash supposed to be flattering? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
