With the world of Westeros expanding, the Game of Thrones universe cast is growing too. Shows like House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms have introduced audiences to many talented actors.

Heads Will Roll

Starring our favourite star from Game of Thrones Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Heads Will Roll is an Audible original from Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon and Emily Lynne. Airing on May 2nd, this ten-episode comedy series will also star Meryl Streep, Tim Gunn, Queer Eye’s Fab Five, and others.

The Mysterious Affair at Styles

Peter Dinklage stars as the legendary detective Hercule Poirot in this Audible Original adaptation of Agatha Christie’s debut novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles. Set in England, in 1914, as World War I rages, the story follows Captain Hastings, who is invited to recover at the grand Styles Court estate, home to his old friend’s family.

In the blistering summer heat, tensions build among the family members. When the wealthy matriarch, Emily Inglethorp, is brutally murdered in the night, everyone at Styles becomes a suspect. Captain Hastings, desperate to protect the family from the press, turns to Poirot, whose insight and sharp method might crack the case. Produced in Dolby Atmos, this adaptation brings Christie’s mystery to life.

The Bippolo Seed and Other Lost Stories

Peter Dinklage narrates “The Great Henry McBride” in this audiobook edition, a collection of rarely seen Dr. Seuss stories brought to life by a cast of celebrity narrators. Dr. Seuss scholar Charles D. Cohen has uncovered seven hidden gems originally published in magazines between 1950 and 1951.

The narrators include Neil Patrick Harris reading “The Bippolo Seed,” Anjelica Huston narrating “The Rabbit, The Bear, and the Zinniga-Zanniga,” Jason Lee with “Gustav, the Goldfish,” and Joan Cusack narrating “Tadd and Tod.” Edward Herrmann reads “Steak for Supper,” while William H. True West

Released on April 4, Kit Harington and Johnny Flynn star as fighting brothers in this 1980 dark comedy by Sam Shepard. Chivalry

Kit Harington stars as Sir Galaad in this BBC Radio full-cast reading of Neil Gaiman’s Chivalry. In this delightfully quirky story, Mrs. Whitaker, voiced by Glenda Jackson, stumbles upon the Holy Grail in a charity shop. A Room of One’s Own

This Penguin Classic is performed by Natalie Dormer. A Room of One’s Own, based on a lecture given at Girton College, Cambridge, is one of the great feminist polemics. Virginia Woolf’s blazing writing on female creativity, the role of the writer, and the silent fate of Shakespeare’s imaginary sister remains a powerful reminder of a woman’s need for financial independence and intellectual freedom.

Neverwhere

Natalie Dormer stars in this adaptation of Neverwhere. Beneath London lies another world, a labyrinth of sewers and abandoned tube stations. It is called London Below. Richard Mayhew, an ordinary man, is pulled into this strange world after an act of kindness. He meets many strange characters, including the Earl of Earl’s Court and the Black Friars.

Richard faces life-threatening danger in this new world. He encounters the Great Beast of London and an Angel called Islington. He is joined by a mysterious woman named Door. Along with the Marquis de Carabas and a bodyguard named Hunter, Richard embarks on a quest to escape assassins Croup and Vandemar.

Richard must also discover who ordered the murder of Door’s family. He tries to return to his old life in London Above. Adapted for radio by Dirk Maggs, this production features a talented cast. It includes David Harewood, Sophie Okonedo, Benedict Cumberbatch, Christopher Lee, and Anthony Head.

The dramatization contains over 25 minutes of additional material. This includes extended scenes, bloopers, and outtakes that were not part of the original broadcast.

Norse Mythology

Natalie Dormer stars in this full-cast dramatization of Neil Gaiman’s retellings of the Norse myths. The stories invite listeners into a world of gods, monsters, and dramatic events. The production features a talented cast, including Diana Rigg, Derek Jacobi, Colin Morgan, and Neil Gaiman himself.

Nuremberg: The Trial of the Nazi War Criminals

Natalie Dormer stars in this full-cast drama based on the landmark Nuremberg trials. The 16-part series offers a dramatic reconstruction of the trial of the 22 most notorious Nazi war criminals, beginning in the summer of 1945, just after Germany’s surrender.

The drama unfolds with the Allied powers—Britain, America, Russia, and France—deciding to formally try Hitler’s high command for crimes against humanity and genocide. The trials, which will last 218 days, are filled with crisis, obstacles, and new legal precedents. The accused, including Albert Speer and Hermann Goering, are cross-examined and forced to admit their crimes.

Throughout the series, the story is told through the eyes of various individuals involved in the trial: the US Army officer guarding the cells, the Russian interpreter, the psychologist testing the defendants, and a young German girl working in the court cafeteria. Their perspectives provide fresh insights into the monumental legal proceedings.

Featuring a stellar cast that includes Henry Goodman, Freddie Fox, Alex Kingston, and Natalie Dormer, this comprehensive drama draws from eyewitness testimony, court transcripts, and extensive historical research.
