Unsullied spotted filming at new Game of Thrones set

HBO is going full speed ahead with the filming of Game of Thrones Season 8. We have reported about the regular sets like the Winterfell set at Moneyglass, and the King’s Landing set at Titanic Studios, Belfast. However we recently reported about a new set being set up at Magheramorne Quarry, where a giant green screen had been set up. Now we have an update on this set. Read on!

New pictures have been posted from the set by Oakleaf Photography, who has been bringing us some great pictures from the sets. The latest bunch show the set in action in night shoots, involving the Unsullied, and probably a few key characters. Check out the tweet, below:

Game of Thrones filming Magheramoren for #GOT8 with major cast members does the zoomed in pic show Jon snow and Daenerys? purple lights must mean the knight king at some stage @WatchersOTWall @WiCnet @GofTNews @GameOfThronesF_ #WinterIsComing #GameofThrones8 @Talking_Thrones pic.twitter.com/ODQogIIM3O

Let’s take a look at the filming picture, below:

Now, we can see the Unsullied lined up with their spears. The original poster, Oakleaf Photography has a hunch that Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen are present on the set, although it’s hard to tell. There’s also a picture showing the green screen in use with purple light, which he thinks means that the Night King is involved in filming at this set, too.

Now, we know that a green screen this big means it’s meant for heavy scenes, so we expect a lot of updates from this set. We cannot get any clue on what these scenes will look like till we see them, since they are meant to be CGI heavy.

What do you think? Got any guesses as to what we will see being filmed here? Tell us in the comments, down below!
