‘Succession’ director Andrij Parekh joins Season 2 of House of The Dragon

Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon season 2 is currently in the production phase. HBO’s fantasy epic is one of the top contenders at this year’s Emmy Awards, eyeing multiple nominations in various categories. Fans are eagerly looking forward to the release of Season 2, which has already begun filming, with a bunch of new faces on the team.

Andrij Parekh joins House of The Dragon Season 2 as director

Parekh, who has worked on popular shows like Succession and Watchmen, is the newest director to join House of The Dragon. The news was confirmed by his wife, Sophie Barthes, in an interview with Eye for Film, “He was in Succession and is now doing House of Dragon in London.”

In an exclusive interview with Sky Atlantic, Condal said, “House of the Dragon has returned. We are thrilled to be shooting again with members of our original family as well as new talents on both sides of the camera. All your favourite characters will soon be conspiring at the council tables, marching with their armies, and riding their dragons into battle. We can’t wait to share what we have in store.”

Who else is returning for House of The Dragon Season 2?

According to a recent report by the Redanian Intelligence, Geeta Patel, along with Clare Kilner, who directed the episodes King of the Narrow Sea, We Light the Way, and The Green Council will also be back in Season 2. Another rumor suggests that Loni Peristere, who also directed two episodes of The Witcher Season 2 and has worked on shows like Banshee and Warrior will also be joining House of The Dragon in Season 2.
