Sophie Turner is all of us when she realized the Game of Thrones' ending was hidden in a Season 1 poster

Unless you have been living under the rock you’d know by now that Game of Thrones is over and Brandon Stark AKA the Three-Eyed Raven is King. That was quite a shocker, wasn’t it? But what’s crazier is that a glaring hint to the Game of Thrones ending had been sitting under our nose ever since Season 1 – a poster with Ned Stark on the Iron Throne, accompanied by – wait for it -a raven (number of eyes unconfirmed).

This was spotted not long after the final episode of Game of Thrones aired on May 19, and the soon the internet was flooded with memes. But Sophie Turner seemed to be as shocked as us when it was pointed out to her at a recent interview with Metro UK.

The interview was part of the Dark Phoenix promotions and Sophie was accompanied by co-star Jessica Chastain. Sophie was asked by the interviewer whether there was any foreshadowing as to how Game of Thrones ended. She recalled the first episode scene where Sansa tells Catelyn that all she wants is to be the Queen. But then Chastain mentions the Season 1 poster. Sophie still doesn’t get it, so she says “there was a raven.”

As the two and two added up Sophie’s mouth literally fell open. Whether a clever foreshadowing or just a quirky coincidence, it doesn’t seem like the cast were in on the joke.

Do you think the Season 1 poster raven was an intentional clue for Bran the Three-Eyed Raven becoming King or just a coincidence? Tell us in the comments!
