Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams gave us friendship goals on Golden Globes red carpet
In the Game of Thrones universe, Sansa and Arya Stark didn’t seem like the most compatible kinds of people, but the actresses playing them, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams, are best friends in real life. They have showcased their bond time and again, right to the level of getting matching tattoos. Mophie didn’t seem to hold back at the 74th Golden Globes ceremony, held today, where the pair were absolutely “friendship goals”, so to say.
While Maisie was getting ready to pose for pictures on the red carpet, Sophie helped her out by adjusting her dress so that it looked just right for the barrage of pictures being taken. Not just that, Sophie actually bent down to make sure that Maisie’s dress was just perfect. Sophie Turner was wearing a Louis Vuitton dress herself, so that’s really saying something. Take a look at the picture below.
When the little adjustments were done, however, the dress looked amazing. Maisie later posted to Instagram saying her dress for the night was inspired by Belle from the upcoming Disney movie,“Beauty and the Beast.”

Their sisterly love deeply touched Anna Kendrick, who couldn’t resist clicking a picture of Sophie and Maisie and posted it on her Instagram with the caption, “Sophie was carrying Maisie’s train down the red carpet and when they introduced themselves to me I made them let me take a photo because my heart couldn’t take how bananas cute it was.”
Sophie and Maisie are really close to each other and it is really wonderful to see such a deep bonding between two actors. Take a look at this photo which Maisie shared yesterday. There’s nothing more adorable than seeing these Stark sisters together.
