Filming schedule for House of the Dragon Season 2 on iconic North Wales beach revealed

The second season of House of The Dragon, the Game of Thrones prequel, is currently being developed at Leavesden Studios in the UK. Images and recordings from Spain, where filming wrapped up recently, have already been made public, thanks to several leaks. In June, the filming will shift to North Wales from Spain. And we finally have the filming schedule for one of the sites in North Wales.

House of The Dragon Filming Schedule for Traeth Llandwyn Beach

Between June 12 and July 7, the House of the Dragon production team will be filming at several locations throughout North Wales. The filming schedule at one of these venues, Traeth Llanddwyn, Anglesey, is rumored to be one of them. According to New Wales Live, the following is the order of events that will take place here:

1. Preparation days: Monday, June 12 to Friday, June 16
2. Hold days (no activity): Saturday and Sunday, June 17-18
3. Preparation days: Monday and Tuesday, June 19-20
4. Filming days: Wednesday to Friday, June 21-23
5. Reinstatement days: Saturday, June 24, and Monday, June 26
6. Hold day (no activity): Sunday, June 25

Which House of The Dragon scene will be filmed on Traeth Llandwyn Beach?

According to the rumors, the scene to be filmed here includes “a man walking towards the sea, talking to his dragon”. This can most probably be Daemon and his dragon, Caraxes, as we had a similar scene in Season 1 when he takes a walk at the beach following Viserys’ death.

Moreover, in the notification letter, the producers said, “We plan to film at several locations along the beach and in the woods. During the filming, we may ask people to wait for a moment when we are shooting, or take an alternate route around the area where filming is happening. There will be no other limitations on access in any other areas.”
