Richard Madden talks about his friendship with Kit Harington and Gemma Chan

Marvel Cinematic Universe’s latest phase 4 movie Eternals is closing in, and fans all over the world are looking forward to witnessing a little Game of Thrones union onscreen. Game of Thrones alums Richard Madden and Kit Harington are playing important roles in the movie, and we can’t wait for them to act together once again on screen. And meeting his old friend was surely emotional for Madden.
“Extra” Special Correspondent Samantha Harris spoke with Richard Madden at the Los Angeles premiere of Eternals, where he opened up about reuniting with his Game of Thrones co-star Kit Harington on set. He also talked about his friendship with his Eternals co-star Gemma Chan, they have been close friends for nearly a decade now.
Talking about Gemma, the Game of Thrones star said, “My best moments were with Gemma Chan, because she’s been my friend for 10 years. So for us to kind of just be working together everyday and kind of jumping into that, it was a joy.”
When asked about his reunion with Game of Thrones star Kit Harington, Madden replied, “It was great, again. It was that kind of thing, if you’re just there chatting with your buddy, and then God I gotta get on set and do acting! Together, with you! This is strange but again just joyous. It’s just lovely to be surrounded by really great people and really talented actors.”
