Peter Dinklage and Maisie Williams back to filming Game of Thrones, a familiar location to return for Season 8
Game of Thrones Season 8 filming has been going on for a while now, and for a short time, the stars had taken a bit of a break off of it and were being spotted elsewhere, but now the filming has resumed. We recently talked about how Kit Harington (Jon Snow) had returned to Belfast, and what we had learnt about the opening scene of Season 8, followed by a report placingCarice van Houten (Melisandre)in the area as well,. Today we have reports of two more stars back to filming, and a couple of other spicy bits. Read on!
In a new report, Spanish Game of Thrones fan siteLos Siete Reinos reported that Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) has also been spotted in Belfast. A fan also tweeted an encounter with Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) :
Just looked up from watching Grace and Frankie in the airport to see Maisie Williams walk past me… weird

Moving on, we have some new scene spoilers! SPOILER ALERT! Consider yourself warned! Watchers on the Wall reported that the a scene was filmed recently at Shane’s Castle, which is a ruin that has been used throughout Game of Thrones, for various locations. The report says that the scene had two leading cast members, will be seen early on in the season, and is set in the crypts beneath Winterfell. Here’s the most interesting part : the scene ends with a horn being blown, which could mean a lot of things, so we are assuming this will be a key scene.
Now, it likely we will see the crypts in the first two episodes of Season 8, but seems like we might see it in the later episodes as well. Fabian Wagner, who is serving as the director of photography on Episodes 3 and 5, recently posted a picture of Shane’s Castle to his Instagram account :
The report also says that there was a tip-off that a group of extras have been stunt training in order to play Night’s Watchmen, so looks like the Night’s Watch will be back at least one more time.
So, it looks like the crypts will be prominent in the coming season. Why could that be? Hit us with your theories, in the comments, down below!
