House of The Dragon Season 1 combined the best of everything we have come to love about the Game of Thrones franchise. Love, lust, loss, fear, blood, deception, and dragons. The first season received an overwhelmingly positive response from viewers and critics, and fans are already excited for the next installment in the Targaryen saga. The show has already been making headlines in the awards circuit, even the official podcast has managed to grab a nomination.

What are the Webby Awards?

The Webby Awards are awarded for excellence on the Internet that ranges from website design, games, to podcasts and Metaverse. They are presented annually by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a judging body comprising of over three thousand industry experts and technology innovators.

In what category has the Official House of The Dragon podcast been nominated?

The Game of Thrones Official Podcast: House of The Dragon has been nominated in the best podcast category, along with four other contenders: Keep It by Crooked Media, TCM’s The Plot Thickens by Turner Classic Movies, Insecure S5 – InsecuriTEA Podcast by HBO, and Disney For Scores by Disney Music Group.

Voting lines are currently open and fans can vote for the nominees in their preferred category by clicking on this link. You can cast your vote until April 20, 2023, and the results will be announced in an official ceremony on May 15, 2023.
