Game of Thrones ended more than a year ago, leaving fans and the cast emotionally wrecked, alike. Fans miss the amazing fantasy show dearly. The cast, having worked for nearly 10 years together, feel a part of them missing. However, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who played the evil-turned-good knight Jaime Lannister thinks differently. The actor recently talked to The Indian Express on various topics in a candid interview, including the environment, a trip to India, and of course, his time on Game of Thrones.

On being asked about the diet plan he followed for playing Jaime Lannister, Coster-Waldau said, “I didn’t have any specific diet. I like to stay fairly in good shape. So there was nothing specific for Jaime.”

He went on to talk about his experience filming the fantasy epic, and the similarities with his character, Jaime Lannister, “I miss the people; I think that’s an easy thing to miss. I share that great experience with a great group of people in front and behind the camera. I miss seeing them on a daily basis. I don’t think I have that much in common with him. We look alike — that’s the most; he’s a different guy.”

“What I liked the most were the scenes we got to play. It was a bit of the whole family drama with the other Lannisters. That was a lot of fun. I can’t think of anything that I hated or didn’t like, it was a positive experience.”
