Nikolaj Coster-Waldau photobombed the Stranger Things cast and had a reunion with Gwendoline Christie at the Golden Globes | Wiki of Thrones

Game of Thrones was snubbed at the 74th Golden Globe Awards, losing in both the categories it had nominations for, but the stars of the show were clearly there to steal the spotlight. Not only did we see some Mophie love on the red carpet, we also saw Kit Harington reenact his resurrection from the show for the opening sequence, and more. However, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister in the series, truly seemed to shine the brightest.

The red carpet of any award show is the shiniest part of it, and things weren’t any different at the Globes this year. The funniest thing that happened was when the boys from Netflix’s newbie hit Stranger Things were taking a picture, and Nikolaj accidentally photobombed them. Check the picture out, below :

That’s not the end of the wonderful evening that Nikolaj had. At HBO’s after-party, he hung out with his screenmate and buddy Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne of Tarth, in the series. The pair have great chemistry on screen, and seem to have a great friendship, off it. TV Guide managed to get a few pictures from the after-party, and they’re a treat. Take a look :

The way he is looking at her will make every Brienne/Jaime shipper melt :

They also had Liam Cunningham, who plays Ser Davos on the show, join them :

Davos will steal your girl, Jaime :

It looks like Nikolaj Coster-Waldau had an absolute blast. We’re just glad to see him with both his hands, and even more, to see him with his on-screen (probable) love interest, and also with the guy with our favorite accent on the show. The three certainly look like a fun trio. Wonder if they will ever share screen space.

What do you think? Is it too much to hope for a Jaime-Brienne-Davos meet in the next season of Game of Thrones? Tell us in the comments, below!
