Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is right around the corner, and fans are excited to see what HBO has in store for them. However, one thing is for certain, fans are the most excited about all the amazing dragons, who were displayed in full glory in the new teaser trailer. Former Doctor Who Matt Smith is playing the role of Prince Daemon Targaryen on the show, one of the key players in the story of House of The Dragon. And his dragon, Caraxes, is going to be one of the meanest, biggest, and baddest beasts in the series.

Smith recently visited the Paris Pan Festival where he talked about his experience on various sets including the highly anticipated House of The Dragon. He said, “Well without giving too much away, yeah it’s fun to fake fly. I mean, who says it’s fake, you know maybe it’s not.”

“We had a great time fake flying and I’ve grown very fond of Caraxes I must say, in all his grumpiness.”

He continued, “They build an actual big sort of…it’s like kind of a simulator almost, you know what I mean? And you’re on and it’s like a great big pretend dragon. And you’re about 10 feet high, and you’re up there and they’ve got loads of wind that they’re flying at you. It’s about as close to flying a dragon as you can get, really. So it was good fun.”
