Marvel’s She-Hulk episodes dwarfed the budget of Game of Thrones Season 8

Twenty-first-century television’s biggest hit was undoubtedly Game of Thrones. Looking at viewership numbers, accolades received, and production expenses, it set records. We got the prequel series House of the Dragon because the show’s enormous success guaranteed that fans could visit Westeros again. Even so, the enormous budget of Game of Thrones has been surpassed by another live-action adaptation.

She-Hulk episodes cost more than that of Game of Thrones’ final season

Season 8 of Game of Thrones was perhaps one of the biggest gambles that HBO had ever played, especially after looking at the reaction it received from fans and critics. However, another controversial show straight from the MCU has taken its place. As per Variety, about $25 million were spent on a single “She-Hulk” episode, far more than was spent on a Game of Thrones final season episode on HBO.

By contrast, each episode of Game of Thrones required roughly $15 million.
