Maisie Williams joins the cast of a new animated sci-fi series gen:LOCK
Game of Thrones is one of the highest rated shows – thanks to its amazing cast and crew members. The Final Season will air in the first half of 2019 and the series will end once in for all. All cast members including Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), and others have many plans after the show ends. But, it seems Maisie Williams is in a rush and has officially become the voice of a character in the Rooster Teeth Animation’s series ‘Gen: LOCK.’ Read on.
Maisie had previously made us know of her plan of settling down in a big house full of dogs via a twitter post through her official handle. She had revealed:
“With Game of Thrones coming to an end I find myself looking to the future and honestly I just can’t wait to grow up and settle down in a big house with loads of dogs x”

Well, the good news is that Maisie has become the voice of a character named Cammie MacLoud in the animated series. Cammie MacLoud is said to be a mischievous Scottish hacker and the youngest of the recruits to the gen: LOCK program. This news was brought to our focus at the U.K. edition of Rooster Teeth’s expo – RTX London. Have a look at the character reveal teaser here:

We have known how brilliantly Maisie has portrayed the role of Arya Stark in Game of Thrones and Arya has become a fan favorite character. Talking about the Maisie being chosen for the animated series, the showrunner – Gray G. Haddock said:
“Maisie truly sounds exactly like how Cammie does in my head, she’s brilliant.”
The series is all set to release in January 2019 and will have multiple seasons just like RWBY, which was Rooster Teeth’s first venture in an animated series. Apart from Maisie, other voice cast members of the series include Michael B. Jordan, David Tennant, and Dakota Fanning.
