Kit Harington talks about falling in love with Game of Thrones co-star Rose Leslie

Kit Harington has always kept his personal life a secret and even though he and his Game of Thrones co-star were dating each other since a long time, he had kept it under the wraps. Recently Kit Harington and Rose Leslie made their relationship public and during the 2016 Olivier Awards, they attended the event as a couple for the first time and they even kissed in front of the cameras. In a recent interview with Vogue Italia Kit Harington opened about his relationship with Rose Leslie.
In the show Rose Leslie played the role of Ygritte who was Jon Snow’s love interest and while talking about his favourite scene, Kit had this to say:
“The three weeks in Iceland when we were shooting the second season. Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love”
Fans of the show had loved the on screen relationship between them and many were saddened by the death of Ygritte. People would’ve loved to see more of their on-screen chemistry in the show. Kit further talked about their relationship by saying, “If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love”.
It’s clear that these two are madly in love and being Kit’s girlfriend has it’s own benefits. During his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Kit revealed the people who knew about Jon’s fate early on and even Rose knew about it. “I told Mum and Dad straight away. It’s Mum and Dad. No one else. Well, my girlfriend knew. A few people knew quite quickly. They’re all very trusted people.”
