Kit Harington looks back on his time on Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones has been at the forefront of television for almost a decade, and we have seen it make superstars of newbies. One of them is Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, and he has slowly become the lead character on the show. The show recently wrapped filming for good, and in a recent interview, Kit looked back on his time on the show. Read on!
Kit recently headed over to BBC Radio 2, and with the wounds of having finished with Game of Thrones being quite fresh, opened up about his experience working on the show and saying goodbye to it:
“…it’s just been this amazing journey. I kinda said to them on my wrap speech that it’s always been more than a job. They were a family and it was my life. I’ve loved every minute of it. I’ve been quite emotional last week thinking about having ended, having finished it.”
He also spoke about his recent wedding to Rose Leslie, whom he fell in love with when she was playing his on-screen lover, Ygritte:
“It was amazing. It was everything that I could have ever wanted and more.”
He recounted his audition for Game of Thrones, for which he went with a black eye:
“I had a black eye on my first audition going in for Jon Snow.
In a fight in McDonald’s, as you do. Which I lost, really badly, so I wasn’t tough at all. But I feel like somewhere that guy who gave me that black guy might have helped me play a hard man on TV, so it sort of backfired for him.”
Well, looks like Kit has carried the brood from that moment for eight years, and used it to bring Jon Snow to life. We just can’t wait to see what happens to Jon in Season 8, and we hope he doesn’t get out of it with anything more than a black eye.
