King’s Landing might have an unexpected visitor in House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 3

Fans are busy theorizing and suspecting what might happen in House of the Dragon season 2 episode 3. The previous episode featured incredible twists and turns, leaving both factions at a certain loss. Otto Hightower is not the Hand of the King any longer whereas Daemon left Dragonstone too.

A tweet shows Alicent grabbing someone’s hands and fans are convinced that they’re Emma D’Arcy’s hands.

The hand closely resembles Emma D’arcy’s hands and the sleeve of the hand holding Rhaenyra’s knife matches with the new Septa costumes. Alicent’s dress and rings match her appearance in the poster.

A hint at Rhaenyra meeting Alicent in episode 3

House of the Dragon season 2 review by The Hollywood Reporter further adds fuel to the speculation fire. The review states, “A verbal clash between enemies is positioned as the mic-drop closer of episode three, and despite the fact that not a single drop of blood is shed, it really is as tense and thrilling as any sword fight could’ve been.”

Fans are convinced that the publication is talking about Rhaenyra and Alicent here. All the subtle hints suggest Rhaenyra’s secret visit to King’s Landing will end with her coming face to face with her once best friend Alicent.

Greens’ claim to power has been built on the belief that Viserys changed his mind about the ascension to the Iron Throne on his deathbed. Some fans have been speculating that this scene shows Rhaenyra explains the truth behind Aegon’s dream to Alicent. We’ll have to see how Alicent reacts to it.

Moreover, the Greens will not give up power so easily. House of the Dragon season 2 episode 3 is going to be an epic chapter in the thrilling narrative.
