Jason Momoa will never play a character like Khal Drogo again

The cast of Game of Thrones included a great number of actors and actresses who may be regarded as the most relatable celebrities. Jason Momoa, who portrayed Khal Drogo, is unquestionably one of them. As the superhero Aquaman, he has achieved great success while staying loyal to his roots. However, Drogo was a ruthless warlord, and his actions on Game of Thrones made Momoa feel really uncomfortable.
Jason Momoa compared Khal Drogo to Genghis Khan
Momoa was interviewed by the NY Times, where he said:
“Well, it was important to depict Drogo and his style. You’re playing someone that’s like Genghis Khan. It was a really, really, really hard thing to do. But my job was to play something like that, and it’s not a nice thing, and it’s what that character was.”
Jason Momoa doesn’t feel comfortable answering questions about his Game of Thrones sex scene
The marital rape of Daenerys after being wed off to Khal Drogo is one of the first instances of sexual assault scenes that we witness on Game of Thrones. It is a sensitive topic, and questions regarding the scene make Momoa extremely uncomfortable. He continued:
” It’s not my job to go, “Would I not do it?” I’ve never really been questioned about “Do you regret playing a role?” We’ll put it this way: I already did it. Not doing it again.”
