Jason Momoa initially vouched in favor of Amber Heard for her role in Aquaman 2

Game of Thrones’ cast included a great number of actors and actresses who can be described as the most down-to-earth celebrities. Jason Momoa, who played Khal Drogo, is definitely one of them. Despite achieving great success as the superhero Aquaman, he has managed to stay true to his roots. The actor is currently facing an emotional crisis, and sometimes he makes mistakes that he later regrets. Even though Momoa has managed to stay aloof from the Depp-Heard courtroom drama, there’s one folly he surely regrets now.
According to a report in TheWrap, Kathryn Arnold, Heard’s representative as an entertainment industry consultant, vied that: “Ms. Heard was not invited to be either in the poster or to be at the [FanDome] event, and, in fact, they told her she cannot come.”
She continued, “In February 2021, there were conversations that Amber’s…option for employment was not going to be exercised. So they may not have hired her again. Her management team fought very hard and they ultimately ended up hiring her, but not only because of what her management did, but also because star Jason Momoa and director James Wan committed to her.”
This has been further confirmed by The A.V. Club‘s report, where Arnold claimed that both he and Wan were “adamant” that Heard remains in the film despite Warner Bros. wanting to edit her out over the controversy.
