Icy fog used at Game of Thrones Season 8 set at Magheramorne Quarry
If you have been keeping up with the filming updates from us lately, you know that the Game of Thrones Season 8 filming has moved to theMagheramorne Quarry set, which has a giant green screen. The set has seen a lot of sh*t go down lately ranging from Unsullied to Wights to a flaming sword, and it seems like it won’t slow down. Today’s update has a thick clouds of icy white fog being used on the set. Read on!
GoTlike Locations, Twitter user that has been bringing us all the filming news, has been on top of the whole thing. The production has a fogging machine that was seen being tested first:

We have seen such type of fog being used before, and it has always meant that the White Walkers have arrived, which coincides with the recent sighting of Wights on the set.
It has stopped now. They were checking their smoke machines.

Then began the actual filming:

It’s not possible to identify anybody, but zoom in to see if you can! Following this, were pictures of a fire amidst all the fog, which probably means there’s some living folk trying to not get turned to the undead:

Also, no, it’s not smoke from the fire. In a video posted by Davy Orr, you can see the fog originating from the left, while the fire is on the right-ish end of things:
