House of the Dragon’s wrap-up party clapboard confirms directors for all Season 2 episodes

House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones, is on the verge of intensifying into a massive hurricane that will engulf all of Westeros. Game of Thrones is known for its abundance of death and destruction, and once Season 2 begins, fans’ favorite characters will begin to fade away like flies. A recent leak from the Season 2 wrap-up party revealed multiple details about House of the Dragon’s next chapter.
Steve Toussaint shares a wrap party edition clapboard of House of the Dragon Season 2
House of the Dragon’s cast and crew members recently celebrated the successful completion of Season 2’s production with an evening gala. Actor Steve Toussaint, who plays Corlys Velaryon on the show, recently shared a picture of a clapboard prop from the party, and it has several interesting details. First up, the confirmation of directors.
House of the Dragon Season 2’s directors and their corresponding episodes are listed below:
Episode 1 – Alan Taylor
Episode 2 – Clare Kilner
Episode 3 – Geeta Patel
Episode 4 – Alan Taylor
Episode 5 – Clare Kilner

House of the Dragon Season 2 adds a third filming unit
House of the Dragon’s first season featured two primary filming units, Fire and Blood, named after the prequel anthology book Fire & Blood, which served as the basis for the television series. “Blood unit” is the traveling unit that filmed in Spain and Portugal, while “Fire unit” is the new home unit filming in England. The board presumably mentions these two units, along with a new one called “Splinter” whose role is currently unknown.
According to the clapboard, the Blood unit might’ve filmed for 101 days, while Fire and Splinter have filmed for 124 and 28 days respectively.
