House of The Dragon tops IMDB’s list of the most anticipated original TV series of 2022

Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is fast on track for its release in 2022. The production hit a little snag recently after a positive COVID-19 case was detected, but since then it has been back to normal. Fans are highly excited about the upcoming series but they do have concerns if it will be as good as the original series, especially after the controversial final season. However, the Martinverse has once again proved its charm. House of The Dragon sits right on top of the most awaited original TV shows list, according to IMDB.

IMDB recently published a list of the most anticipated original TV series of 2022, which included some of the most promising shows fans have been waiting for. They include The Last of Us, The Sandman, Pam And Tommy, Amazon’s The Lord of The Rings, and House of The Dragon. And the Game of Thrones prequel managed to clinch the top spot.

It is quite funny because, in a recent interview, HBO chief Casey Bloys looked quite confident about the show, openly admitting that he is not worried about competition from other shows, like Amazon’s The Lord of The Rings. The Lord of The Rings currently sits at number 2 on the list, and it seems like Bloys somehow knew that, already.
