House of The Dragon showrunner teases Blood & Cheese storyline in Season 2

House of The Dragon Season 1 combined the best of everything we have come to love about the Game of Thrones franchise. Love, lust, loss, fear, blood, deception, and dragons. The first season received an overwhelmingly positive response from viewers and critics, and fans are already excited for the next installment in the Targaryen saga. And there are a lot of heartbreaking scenes that await the audience in Season 2.
How accurate will be the ‘ratcatcher’ in Season 2?
In the latest episode of his podcast, The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of, showrunner Ryan Condal teased the Blood & Cheese storyline in Season 2. He said, “We’ve been doing a lot of R&D, I’ve been investigating a lot of rat traps recently, so I will say that. And they’re very cool. That goes more to book-readers more than anything else, but stay tuned.”
Who is playing Cheese on House of The Dragon?
According to a recent report by The Redanian Intelligence, Line of Duty actor Mark Stobbart has been roped in to play Cheese in House of The Dragon Season 2. Moreover, actor James Doherty has joined the cast of Season 2 as Cley. It is currently unknown who Cley is, but it seems just like Cheese, he is a resident of the Flea Bottom.
When will House of The Dragon return?
The filming of House of The Dragon season 2 has just begun production, with the casting process almost complete and the sets being constructed at key locations. HBO chief Casey Bloys has confirmed in an indirect way that House of The Dragon won’t be coming back before the summer of 2024.
