House of The Dragon Season 1 combined the best of everything we have come to love about the Game of Thrones franchise. Love, lust, loss, fear, blood, deception, and dragons. The first season received an overwhelmingly positive response from viewers and critics, and fans are already excited for the next installment in the Targaryen saga. And there are a lot of heartbreaking scenes that await the audience in Season 2.

How accurate will be the ‘ratcatcher’ in Season 2?

In the latest episode of his podcast, The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of, showrunner Ryan Condal teased the Blood & Cheese storyline in Season 2. He said, “We’ve been doing a lot of R&D, I’ve been investigating a lot of rat traps recently, so I will say that. And they’re very cool. That goes more to book-readers more than anything else, but stay tuned.”
