House of The Dragon Season 2: New filming updates from Wales

Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon is now getting ready for its upcoming phase of production in Wales. The majority of the scenes will be filmed at WB’s Leavesden Studios in the UK, although the second season of the show will also have some exterior shots. Several locations in Wales are now being used for extensive filming by HBO.

Military camp at Dinorwic Quarry

It was previously reported that House of the Dragon is currently preparing to film a big battle in the Dinorwic Quarry area. It was further confirmed when several makeshift medieval military camps began appearing all over the place, as evidenced by pictures provided by @King_Maegor Twitter account.

Filming wraps up in Llanddwyn Beach

The Llanddwyn Beach, where the Dragonseeds were supposedly spotted last week, has been one of the premier filming sites for House of the Dragon Season 2 in Wales. The filming here was wrapped up on Wednesday, according to the fan site House the Dragons.

In the scene we have several people with platinum hair running towards the boats.

Filming begins at a new site in Wales

One of the locals recently captured a clip of the filming taking place at the Ogwen Valley. The video was taken from quite a distance so it is not clear to make out anything as of yet.
