Although the original show’s success helped with the popularity of the prequel, House of the Dragon is a tribute to Game of Thrones and can be enjoyed on its own. Since Game of Thrones, we haven’t been to a lot of places in Westeros until the new HBO epic, but it looks like another wintery locale might be coming back very soon. Season 2 will reportedly feature The Wall. And with The Wall, the lore of the Undead reawakens.

House of the Dragon Season 2 might give us a glimpse of the Wights

The Wights have always been associated with The Wall, the structure acting as a barrier against all kinds of magic. According to a recent rumor via Redanian Intelligence, a reference board with the label “Undead” was found in a crowd makeup booth for Season 2 of House of the Dragon at Leavesden Studios. This is for extras, so to speak. However, it is not confirmed if the Wights will really make an appearance in the second season.
