House of the Dragon Season 1’s deleted scene had Rhaenyra bonding with Laena
The first season of House of the Dragon masterfully captured everything we’ve come to love about the Game of Thrones series. The show’s key components, including the gore and deceit, as well as the feelings of love, passion, want, despair, and dread, shone without a doubt. There was another element of the show that was ignored in Season 1 – Rhaenyra and Laena’s relationship.

Though the books mentioned Rhaenyra and her cousin Laena shared a healthy relationship, it was not shown on-screen. Luckily, a fansite named Hotd Croatia managed to get their hands on a leaked scene, which showed Rhaenyra and Laena sharing a wholesome moment after Viserys goes off to meet Rhaenys and Corlys.
More pictures from Alicent and Viserys’ wedding
The marriage of Alicent and Viserys, which took place off-screen, was not shown on-screen in the first season of House of the Dragon. Rhaenyra was charged with getting Alicent ready for the wedding day, and new evidence suggested that it was definitely filmed. Recently, a new photograph from the filming surfaced.
