Recent leak from the set of House of the Dragon might be the first look at Addam Velaryon

The Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon is now getting ready for its upcoming phase of production in Wales. The majority of the scenes will be filmed in WB’s Leavesden Studios in the UK, although the second season of the series will also have some outside shots. Wales is now being covered for extensive filming by HBO. And curious locals have been using this opportunity to snap some interesting pics.

First look at Clinton Liberty as Addam Velaryon

Addam Velaryon, one of the prime dragonseeds, will play a huge role in Season 2. Actor Clinton Liberty is rumored to be playing the character in House of the Dragon, and was recently spotted by the fan account @housethedragons on set in full costume, without his white wig.

Who is Addam Velaryon?

Without spoiling much, Addam Velaryon is one of the most famous dragonseeds from Fire & Blood. As the name suggests, he is a Velaryon bastard, not confirmed yet fathered by who, legitimized and given knighthood during the civil war. He stays loyal to the Blacks till the end, even though Rhaenyra mistrusts his true intentions.

Addam also has a brother, Alyn, portrayed by the Raised by Wolves star Abubakar Salim. He has been confirmed to be filming in Wales, after he tweeted he is having fun playing the character.
