House Hightower arrives on the set of House of the Dragon Season 2 in Surrey

The first season of the predecessor to Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, was an emotional roller coaster that ended tragically last year. The show’s casting, costuming, and atmosphere have received accolades from viewers and reviewers, and let’s face it: the cast and crew are deserving of praise. The most recent information from the Season 2 set indicates that a significant fight is about to occur, and the Hightowers will be involved in it.

Hightower camp and banner spotted in Bourne Woods

Filming for the second season of House of the Dragon is taking place quite swiftly, with locations in Surrey acting as the new battlefield. Bourne Woods is reportedly being used to film a part of the Battle of Rook’s Rest, and it seems like House Hightower will be there to witness it. We even have glimpses of broken shields provided by the YouTube channel UnBoxPHD that will be used to show the damage concurred by the war.

 

New props to be used in House of the Dragon Season 2

We also have a first look at various props to be used in the filming of House of the Dragon in Season 2, a lot of them revolving around war and its aftermath. The new props show a few damaged shields used by the Green army, spikes, and a mysterious new weapon that looks like a club.
