The cordial relationship between the cast and the crew of production often influence the success of the show. Recently, one such story came up about Kit Harington. In an interview with the Irish Mirror, Game of Thrones extra Andrew McClay talked about how nice he was to everyone on set.
McClay talked about the moment he gave Kit a βKing in The Northβ jacket, βOh yeah, I had to give him a Season 8 jacket too because as you see in the documentary, I mentioned to him that we have a new one for Season 8. He came to me then after the cameras stopped rolling and weβre talking about the new jacket. So I had to send it over to London for him and he sent me back a lovely message thanking me, heβs absolutely lovely. β

βI loved being able to give that jacket to him because heβs just a lovely man and during the time working on the show, he just embodied Jon Snow for me. For me, Kit is the King in the North and for the Season 8 jacket, I had βThe King Beyond the Wallβ written on the sleeve. He told me that he loved that touch. β
βI always used to look at Kit and say to myself, βhe is Jon Snow.β Thatβs why I got him the jacket because I love that character and these books. To me, I was so happy to give him that because it was my way of saying thank you for bringing my favourite character off the pages and onto the screen. He did it so well.β

A live-action remake of sci-fi fantasy Dune is on the rise, and fans all over the world are highly excited about it. The cast and the crew are equally thrilled about its release, especially Jason Momoa. Having played big roles in famous franchises such as Game of Thrones and DCEU, Momoa has some useful advice for director Denis Villeneuve: βDo not trim it!β It looks like Momoa has learned that lesson from the Justice Leagueβs Snyder Cut Edition.
Momoa told The New York Times, βIt was a cool movie. You know what they need to do? They need to make the four-to-six hour version of the first half. Itβs like, βLetβs watch the four-to-five-hour movie like a TV show; I can choose when I want to watch the whole thing.β I want to see Denisβs whole vision. I donβt want it to be trimmed.β

Momoa has always been an ardent supporter of Zack Snyder and his vision for the DCEU. And it seems like he wants the same for the Dune movie universe (if it is successful, we are talking about sequels here). He was really happy when Zack Snyderβs dream was realized and congratulated him on the filmβs release.
Dune is set to release in theatres and on HBO Max on October 22. Are you excited about the movie? Talk to us in the comments below!

Game of Thrones was a remarkable show, with tonnes of memorable scenes. From the breath-taking scenery to the vicious dragons, the show proved to be the wonderland of fantasy lovers. However, there were a few scenes that were disturbing to the fans and cast alike. For example, the rape scene of young Daenerys. And the showβs star Jason Momoa, who played Khal Drogo, doesnβt seem to like recalling the scene.
Momoa was asked by The New York Times if he regrets performing the scene on Game of Thrones. He seemed visibly uncomfortable, and replied, βWell, it was important to depict Drogo and his style. Youβre playing someone thatβs like Genghis Khan. It was a really, really, really hard thing to do. But my job was to play something like that, and itβs not a nice thing, and itβs what that character was. Itβs not my job to go, βWould I not do it?β Iβve never really been questioned about βDo you regret playing a role?β Weβll put it this way: I already did it. Not doing it again.β

After the interview, Momoa circled back to the βThronesβ question and told the reporter that it βleft a bad feeling in my stomach.β
βWhen you brought up βGame of Thrones,β you brought up stuff about whatβs happening with my character and would I do it again. I was bummed when you asked me that,β Momoa said. βIt just feels icky β putting it upon me to remove something. As if an actor even had the choice to do that. Weβre not really allowed to do anything. There are producers, there are writers, there are directors, and you donβt get to come in and be like, βIβm not going do that because this isnβt kosher right now and not right in the political climate.β That never happens. So itβs a question that feels icky. I just wanted you to know that.β

In todayβs fast pacing world, we rarely make time for our family, let alone save some time for ourselves. Humanity is slowly losing touch with its emotions. This often leads to mental illnesses of one form another. Filming a show as big as Game of Thrones can be quite intense for its cast and crew. And it took a severe toll on the showβs star Kit Haringtonβs mental health. He recently opened up about how he dealt with them on The Jess Cagle Show.
Harington said, βI went through, kind of, some mental health difficulties after Thrones and during the end of Thrones, to be honest. And I think it was directly to do with the nature of the show and what Iβve been doing for years.β
βI think I took, sort of, a break after Thrones where, so, I donβt want to work for a year [and] I want to really kind of concentrate on myself. I think Iβm really happy I did that.β
While Kit didnβt open up about his time in treatment, he did say that his break from acting helped him be more considerate about the roles he takes, like his upcoming appearance on Modern Love. He said, βComing back to work and deciding what to take, what to chooseβ¦doing this Modern Love episode was a bit like, βYou donβt have to live in that intense place all the time. Why donβt you do something that takes the weight off? Why donβt you do something fun?β And that was part of my thinking on this one.β
