Here’s how fans reacted after Gendry made a return in the latest Game of Thrones episode

Game of ThronesGame of Thrones Season 7 has been doing really well, and Episode 5, titled ‘Eastwatch‘, aired today. As the preview promised, the episode was full of amazing moments, and the highlight was one giant character return : Gendry! After seasons of rowing, we finally saw Joe Dempsie‘s character, Gendry, make a return, and yes, he was on land. Tyrion Lannister returned to King’s Landing to have a brief meeting with Jaime Lannister, and Ser Davos Seaworth accompanied him, but parted ways to go to Flea’s Bottom, to search for Gendry. Davos found him working as a blacksmith, again, making weapons for the Lannisters and offered him an escape that he readily accepted. However, that’s not all Gendry did in this episode, he also killed two Gold Cloaks, introduced himself to Jon Snow as Robert’s bastard, and offered to go beyond the wall with him. Honestly, we don’t think we have seen a finer character return on the show, and the fandom agrees. Here are some of the best fan reactions to Gendry’s return :
