HBO confirms title for Game of Thrones season 6 episode 8
Recently we had reported that the Sky Atlantic Germany site had revealed the titles for Game of Thrones season 6 episodes 8,9 and 10. However, there was no official confirmation from HBO about the titles that were revealed. Finally HBO has confirmed one of those titles on its website and now we know that the information on the Sky Atlantic site was authentic. The 8th episode of Game of Thrones season 6 is titled “No One“.
With this confirmation we now know that episode will focus mainly on Arya Stark as she was training to become a Faceless Man. However, now that she has decided to give up the training and most probably leave for Westeros, we might get to see Arya playing an important role in Westeros in the episode. A recent fan theory about Arya’s future also points in the same direction and if it turns out to be true, it will have a huge impact on the show. Take a look at this interview in which Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner revealed some massive details about Arya’s story from season 6.
It seems that we will have to wait a bit to get the synopsis for the 8th episode. Once we know the synopsis, we will get to know more about what we can expect in the episode. But we are also sure that the synopsis will be highly cryptic and vague like the ones that have been released for the episodes in this season.
Also, now that it has been confirmed that the title of episode 8 was correct, we are very sure that the remaining two titles that were posted on the Sky Atlantic site are correct as well. Following are the titles of the last two Game of Thrones episodes for season 6:
- Episode 9: “The Battle of the Bastards”
- Episode 10: “The Winds of Winter”
These two titles are really exciting as they reveal a lot, especially the title for episode 9. We know that we are going to see the huge battle in the North between Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton and the title has just made that clear.
The season finale has the same name as that of the next book in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series, which is written by George R.R. Martin. We can expect an assault by the White Walkers on Westeros and who knows, there might be a shocking end where even the Wall might fall down. If that happens, it will make things really worse for the people and shocking and exciting at the same time for the fans.
