Interview
HBO chief Casey Bloys feels “very good” about House of The Dragon season 1 post-production
Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon has been a topic of chit-chat amongst the lovers of the hit fantasy series. The show has displayed a huge potential so far and promises to improve on some of the key aspects that made the original show a blockbuster. The fans are already looking forward to meeting the new dragons, and also have a look at the legendary Valyrian steel swords. It is one of the most anticipated shows of 2022, being on the top of IMDb’s list. With a promising future in sight, HBO chief Casey Bloys is feeling very positive about its performance.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Bloys was asked if House of The Dragon is prepared to go head-to-head with other shows like Halo or Lord of The Rings TV series, to which he replied:
“A good operating principle is not to worry too much about other what people have airing and to keep your eyes on your own work. I feel very good about House of Dragon and we’ll premiere it when we premiere it.”
Bloys has previously asserted the same in his older interviews, he is not even looking at the competition right now. Though nothing is for certain yet, a second season is definitely in mind of the HBO execs. However, only time will tell whether he is right to put his faith in House of The Dragon.
