Hannah Waddingham earns a Golden Globe nomination for her role in Ted Lasso
A lot of the characters from Game of Thrones were noteworthy, and some of them stayed with fans despite their brief TV appearances. Playing the well-known “Shame” nun during Cersei’s atonement walk was quite enjoyable for Emmy-winning actress Hannah Waddingham. She might be adding another prestigious award to her slate of accolades, thanks to her fan favourite role in Ted Lasso.

The holiday season is on the rise, and it brings good news to Waddingham and her followers. The Game of Thrones alum has has rightly earned a Golden Globe nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category, alongside Hollywood legends such as Meryl Streep and Christina Ricci. She recently shared on X:

Hannah Waddingham wants to play James Bond’s boss
Like Game of Thrones, James Bond is a global phenomenon with a devoted fan base. Following Daniel Craig’s exit from the series, a fresh version is in the works that will feature a different actor in the title role of 007 agent. But there’s also a risk that other important characters—like M, who Ralph Fiennes has previously portrayed—might get replaced. Waddingham recently stated that she wanted to play the following role in an interview:
“I would love that but she’d have to be called H. … I know [Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson have] had this thing going on with M…”
