Hannah Murray (Gilly) done filming Game of Thrones Season 8

Game of Thrones is currently nearing the end of its Season 8, and thus overall filming. The show will be wrapping up the production for one last time, soon, but till then, some of the individual stars are starting to reveal that they have finished their share of filming already. One of these is Hannah Murray, who plays the role of Gilly, who recently revealed that she has finished filming for Game of Thrones Season 8. Read on!

Now, if you guys aren’t aware, Game of Thrones fan convention Con of Thrones just happened, and Hannah Murray was one of the cast members who were present for the conference. She was interviewed by Game of Thrones fan site Winter is Coming. Speaking in this interview, Hannah said that being done with the show was starting to sink in:

“I’ve finished. I’ve shot all my scenes. The final day was definitely very emotional because you’re having to say goodbye to a lot of people. I feel so lucky to have been a part of the show for so long.”

Now, you might think that Gilly is a relatively isolated character, so her finishing her scenes doesn’t amount to much, but Hannah let slip a small detail. She was asked whom she enjoyed working with the most, other than her regular on-screen partner, John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), to which she said:

“There are a few from season 8 that I can’t actually mention.”
