Game of Thrones Season 8 is currently filming for Season 8, and we have been bringing you all the latest updates. As you might know, King’s Landing has two different filming locations, and prominent ones at that. The filming is currently on at Dubrovnik, Croatia, which has been used as King’s Landing, before, and there’s a whole new set for the same at Titanic Studios, Belfast, Northern Ireland. We recently saw new pictures of the set showing it nearing completion, and now new pictures show two huge new towers at the set. Read on!

Twitter user A Red Priestess recently shared the new pictures of the King’s Landing set at Titanic Studios, Belfast Northern Ireland. The new pictures show two towers are located at the city gate and seem to be guarding it. Check out the tweet, below:

Now, like with a lot of set detailing this year, these towers have also been physically constructed instead of being added later with CGI, which just means that we will see actors interact with them quite a bit. The towers are also quite large, and about 50% taller than the watchtower on the other side of the set, says a source.

So what do you think could happen with these towers? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
