Get ready to enter the world of Westeros with Game of Thrones: Conquest mobile game

Game of Thrones Season 7 just finished, and now it’s a long way to go till Season 8 arrives. Now, we’ve always joked about how Game of Thrones is a fandom in which the fans don’t want to exist in the imaginary universe like fans from other fandoms do, but let’s face it, it would be awesome to imagine that world on that level. Now, we know that we can’t jump into that world, but it seems like we might be getting something close to that, pretty soon. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and HBO Global Licensing have just announced a new mobile game based on the show, and it’s called Game of Thrones: Conquest. Read on!

The game has just been opened for pre-registration. The official description of the game reads as follows :

“Developed by Turbine, the MMO strategy mobile game puts players at the head of their own powerful House, with the ultimate goal of navigating the dangerous political landscape of Westeros and claiming the Iron Throne. Players will see some familiar faces from the hit HBO® show as they play the game, including Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, and Jon Snow.

Whether it’s through sheer might or deception, Game of Thrones: Conquest lets players rule their House as they choose. Powerful armies will be raised to march against rivals, while players command their own small councils to sabotage their enemies from within. Westeros won’t be simple to conquer. Players must defend their Houses from each other in player versus player battles or form a strategic Allegiance as they fight for control of the Seven Kingdoms.”

The pre-registration has its perks. Players who pre-register will get what’s called the ‘Prepare for War Bundle.’ The bundle will come with exclusive Night’s Watch training gear, and gold and resources, which we think will be something like what Clash of Clans has.
