Don’t worry about House of the Dragon Season 2 ending, we’re getting more!
Game of Thrones concluded its ten-year television run about 4 years ago, yet HBO wasted no time in developing additional Westeros-based series. The prequel, House of the Dragon, has teased the potential for more spinoffs soon to grace our screens. As the inaugural series among several, House of the Dragon is presently relishing a triumphant second season. And there are seven more on the way.
George R. R. Martin is looking forward to seven Game of Thrones spinoffs
George R. R. Martin was recently on a trip to the UK, where he visited the Oxford Writer’s House. During the discussion, the author confirmed that there are seven Game of Thrones spinoffs – 3 live-action and 4 animations – currently under development, other than House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
Per @GRRMspeaking remarks at this talk, there are currently 7 shows in various stages of development, 3 live action, 4 animated. We knew of 2 (Aegon the Conqueror, Ten Thousand Ships) and 2 (The Golden Empire, Sea Snake), as I recall #GoT #ASOIAF #GRRM https://t.co/xftFF8Mev1
