Game of Thrones returns to Dubrovnik for filming season 8

The filming for Game of Thrones Season 8 has kicked into the top gear this week. We have reported about increased activity at the Winterfell set, including the giant development yesterday, and we have talked about how Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow) being spotted in Iceland, while a bunch of the others were spotted at an unidentified airport. Now we have a brand new report that says that the filming is now in Dubrovnik, Croatia, and sets have been spotted. Read on!
We have previously reported that Game of Thrones will be back to Dubrovnik this time, as the place has represented the streets of King’s Landing since Season 2. The Dubrovnik Times reports that the production has set up camp near the city, and the cast is expected to arrive soon. Here’s a picture of the crew tent set up near the Lovrijenac Fortress which has been used in the show before as the Red Keep:
