Game of Thrones’ Pilou Asbaek joins Jason Momoa in Aquaman 2
The year 2021 has been an eventful one for TV and movie fans, apart from the second COVID-19 outbreak. The long-awaited Zack Snyder’s Justice League finally became a reality. The month of April also marks the celebration of a decade of Game of Thrones. With the Iron Anniversary events underway and House of The Dragon on the way, it is an exciting time for fantasy lovers. Game of Thrones fans can see two of their favourite actors from the show team up in an upcoming movie. Pilou Asbaek (Euron Greyjoy) will be joining Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) in the highly awaited Aquaman sequel.
James Wan is returning to direct and produce alongside Peter Safran. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick is penning the script. The plot is unknown at this time and it is unknown who Asbaek would be playing in the film, as reported by Deadline.
The original was a massive hit for the studio, grossing more than $1.14 billion at the worldwide box office and the sequel has been a high priority for the studio. The film is set to premiere on Dec. 16, 2022.

The world is trying to get back on its feet after the events of the Red Wedding year 2020. The hopes are very high with the new vaccines undergoing trials. Many people are having a fresh start in the year 2021. Game of Thrones stars have moved on to newer projects to keep entertaining us in the years to come by. Thomas Brodie-Sangster, famous for playing Jojen Reed on the show, has joined Danny Boyle’s Sex Pistols biopic. Brodie-Sangster is the second Game of Thrones celebrity to join the series, after Maisie Williams.
The show, set up at FX, is based on the memoir of Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones. He helped usher in a punk revolution in Britain in the 1970s. Boyle will executive produce and direct the six-episode series. The story is inspired by guitarist Steve Jones’ memoir Lonely Boy: Tales from a Sex Pistol. Brodie-Sangster will play impresario Malcolm McLaren, while Williams is set to play model, superfan and punk icon Jordan (aka Pamela Rooke). Westworld star Talulah Riley and Thomas Brodie-Sangster are the latest additions to the cast. Also joining the cast are Christian Lees and debutante Iris Law, daughter of actors Jude Law and Sadie Frost.
The Sex Pistols began production on March 7. The series is expected to release in 2022. Are you excited about the biopic? Talk to us in the comments below!
It is always fun to see our favourite stars team up on the big screen. Game of Thrones boasted a host of highly talented actors. Veteran actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) is one of the most professional artists in the entertainment industry. He once described how he never gets attached to a show he has worked on out of professionalism. Coster-Waldau and Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx are part of the star-studded cast for the upcoming action-thriller God Is a Bullet.
The film’s cast also include actors Maika Monroe and Andrew Dice Clay. Filmmaker Nick Cassavetes known for movies such as The Notebook and My Sister’s Keeper, will direct the feature. The film is based on Boston Teran’s novel of the same name. The story is about vice detective Bob Hightower (Coster-Waldau) who finds his ex-wife murdered. Also, a satanic cult kidnaps his only daughter.
“Frustrated by the botched official investigations, he quits the force, gets tattoos. He infiltrates the cult to hunt down the cult leader with the help of the cult’s only female victim escapee, Case Hardin (Monroe),” the official plotline read.
Foxx will essay the pivotal supporting role of ‘The Ferryman’. Michael Mendelsohn and Don Allen will produce the movie. Kim H Winther and Jim Steele will act as the co-producers. Pre-production has already started in Mexico. It is set to begin on May 24, 2021.
Coster-Waldau talked to Ursula von der Leyen earlier this year about global climatic issues. Are you excited about the upcoming action-thriller? Talk to us in the comments below!
Time-Traveling has been the topic of fantasy ever since human beings learned the concept of time and space. Notable authors like H. G. Wells (author of The Time Machine) have tried to show what it would be like to really own a Time Machine. HBO’s upcoming series, The Time Traveller’s Wife, will be narrating one such story, starring Game of Thrones’ Rose Leslie.
HBO’s new drama series is based on the novel by Audrey Niffenegger. Rose Leslie and Theo James have been tapped as the leads in The Time Traveller’s Wife. Adapted by former Dr Who head writer and Sherlock co-creator Steven Moffat. The Time Traveller’s Wife tells the intricate love story of Clare (Leslie) and Henry (James), and a marriage with a problem… time-travel.
The series marks Game of Thrones alumna’s Leslie return to HBO. Her Claire Abshire is fiery, clever and unstoppable — and for most of her life, she’s had an amazing secret. Since she was 6 years old, Clare has had an imaginary friend: a kind and funny man. Sometimes old, sometimes young, who appears in the woods behind her house and tells her tales of the future. As the years pass and she grows into a beautiful young woman, she starts to realize her friend is not imaginary — he’s a time traveller, visiting from the future. And he’s not just from any old future, he’s from her future. Clare has a literal date with destiny. One day she’s going to meet a young man called Henry DeTamble, whom she’ll know very well but who won’t recognize her at all. She will become the time traveller’s wife.
Leslie recently welcomed her first child with her husband Kit Harington. Are you excited about the upcoming sci-fi show? Tell us in the comments below!
