Game of Thrones opening intro voted as one of the top TV theme tunes of all time in a poll by music fans

Music is food for the soul. Even those who can’t read or write understand the language of music. Humanity has relied on music since ancient times as one of the best ways of relaxation. It calms the nerves and sometimes even helps you concentrate better. Game of Thrones hired some of the finest talents on the planet who helped make the show great. The music composer for the series, Ramin Djawadi, produced some of the finest tunes for the show. He will be returning to Westeros with his scores for the Game of Thrones prequel, House of The Dragon. While we’re anxiously waiting for the prequel show, we have a piece of good news for fans worldwide. Game of Thrones has been named one of the top TV theme tunes of all time in a poll by music fans.

t was ranked fourth in the survey of over 20,000 Classic FM listeners and Radio Times’ readers. The theme for the hit HBO series, part-filmed in Northern Ireland, was composed by Ramin Djawadi in 2011, after series creator David Benioff and D. B. Weiss approached him requesting a theme. The poll was topped by the theme tune to the crime drama Inspector Morse.
