Game of Thrones’ Natalie Dormer tied the knot with Vikings: Valhalla star David Oakes in a secret ceremony
Game of Thrones not only proved itself to be one of the greatest shows to have been ever made, but it also gave us some of the brightest gems in the acting industry. Actress Natalie Dormer is definitely one of them, who made the fans go crazy with her beauty and wit. She recently entered a new phase in her life, and we can’t be any happier about it.
When did Natalie Dormer tie the knot with David Oakes?
The Game of Thrones star wed her longtime partner and the father of her child in a private ceremony at Roth Bar & Grill in Bruton, Somerset in February 2023, as confirmed by Daily Mail. According to the newspaper: “Natalie and David kept the wedding very low key, they didn’t want it to be a huge bash though it certainly was still a day to remember. They just wanted to share the moment with a select group of people as they’re very private individuals. But it was a beautiful ceremony.”
When did the couple start dating?
The 41-year-old actress started dating the Vikings: Valhalla star in 2019 after they did a play called, Venus in Fur, together in 2017. The couple welcomed their daughter in January 2021.
What has Natalie Dormer been doing after Game of Thrones?
After her character Margaery died in Game of Thrones, Dormer has starred in numerous movies such as In Darkness, Patient Zero, The Professor and the Madman, and lent her voice to the animation Pets United. She has also acted in TV shows that include Picnic at Hanging Rock, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, and Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.
