Game of Thrones’ Hannah Waddingham hailed as the best Eurovision host yet
Actress Hannah Waddingham is gathering heaps of applause and praise as the best host in the history of Eurovision, after she co-hosted the event with Graham Norton recently. Most Game of Thrones fans remember her as the famous ‘shame’ nun from the series, accompanying Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) on her ‘Walk of Shame’. From being the shame nun, to winning an Emmy for her role in Ted Lasso, to becoming the best host on Eurovision, Waddingham has certainly come a long way.

Hannah Waddingham was proud of her ‘wine-boarding’ scene on Game of Thrones despite almost drowning
A few years ago in an interview, Waddingham revealed she would have gladly done that scene again even though it was so difficult to film. She said, “What I said at the end of it that wasn’t picked up on, as I would 100% do it again. Because being given the chance to be on something like Game Of Thrones, you have to go there.”
“That’s why the show is so magnificent, because it brings everybody out, it takes everyone to the nth degree of their emotions. And that’s why it was so successful because you believe it, you believe the gore and you believe the tragedy and the drama.”
