Game of Thrones gets no award, but stars shine at the Golden Globes

Now, as we had recently reported, Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) were picked to be presenters for the awards, for the TV Comedy Actor and TV Comedy Series categories. The other stars present were Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) and Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth). Check out the red carpet pictures, below :
Game of Thrones had a nomination in one category : Best Television Series – Drama. It competed with The Handmaid’s Tale, Stranger Things, This Is Us, and The Crown. The winner was The Handmaid’s Tale, which generated quite a buzz in 2017. But hey, Season 8 is more likely to grab a win for the show, after all this while, but it’s a long time till that.
